To send you transactional trip planning emails (pre-trip checklist, flight reminders) which you would reasonably expect as part of the service.

To send you optional marketing emails (offers, destination inspiration, deals) — only if you explicitly ticked the optional marketing checkbox. You can withdraw this consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email.

To place affiliate tracking cookies (for GetYourGuide, Booking.com via CJ Affiliate, Awin, Viator, Skyscanner, SafetyWing) — only after you have accepted non-essential cookies via our cookie banner.
We only share data with third parties that are necessary to deliver our service. All are bound by their own privacy policies and, where required, Data Processing Agreements.
Kefido earns commission when you click affiliate links and make a booking. This is how we fund the free service. When you click an affiliate link, the relevant platform may place a cookie on your device to track the referral. This only happens if you have accepted affiliate cookies via our cookie banner.
Important: Booking.com voucher codes
Kefido does not claim or advertise any voucher codes, discount codes or special deals for Booking.com. Any such claims on third-party sites are not affiliated with Kefido. Booking.com does not provide discount codes to affiliates.

Our database (Supabase) is hosted in the EU (Frankfurt, Germany). Some of our service providers — including Klaviyo, Resend, Anthropic, and CJ Affiliate — are based in or transfer data to the United States. Where this occurs, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as required under UK GDPR Article 46. By using Kefido, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States under these safeguards.
Kefido is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at kefido.ops@gmail.com and we will delete it immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. For significant changes, we will notify active users by email. Continued use of Kefido after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
