Ibiza is the world capital of nightlife and the ultimate high-end European stag destination. A 3-night trip typically costs £500–900 per person excluding flights. The island's superclubs — Ushuaïa, Amnesia, Pacha and Hi — book the world's best DJs from May to October. It's the right choice for groups for whom nightlife is the absolute priority and budget is secondary.
The case for Ibiza
Ibiza operates on a completely different scale to any other European stag destination. The clubs are the largest and most technically advanced in the world — Amnesia, Pacha and Hi have capacities of 5,000–10,000 and production budgets that rival festival main stages. A single club night with a headline DJ will cost £80–200 pp including entry and drinks, but the experience is genuinely unlike anything available in Eastern Europe.
The honest caveat: Ibiza is expensive. Very expensive. Accommodation, food, taxis and drink prices are at Ibiza-specific premium rates. Groups who are budget-conscious, or for whom the nightlife quality difference over Budapest or Belgrade does not justify 2–3x the cost, should choose elsewhere. Groups for whom only the best will do: Ibiza is the answer.

Playa d'en Bossa Beach
The party beach. Long stretch adjacent to most of the superclubs, beach bars and the water park. Central to most stag group itineraries. The Bora Bora beach bar is a Ibiza institution — free entry, beach DJs from 2pm.
Boat Party
Ibiza boat parties are legendary — 3–4 hour cruises with DJs and open bar around the island. Multiple operators daily from San Antonio port. Around £60–90 pp. Book via Ocean Beach Ibiza or similar operators.
San Antonio Sunset Strip
The Café del Mar and Café Mambo sunset strip in San Antonio is world-famous. Arrive from 7pm, watch the sunset over the sea to live DJ sets. Free to stand on the street — drinks optional. A mandatory Ibiza experience.
Watersports
Jet skiing, flyboarding, parasailing and paddleboarding are all available from Playa d'en Bossa and Es Cavallet beach. Budget £50–100 pp for a watersports session.
Ibiza Town Old Town
The Dalt Vila — Ibiza Town's UNESCO-listed old town — is genuinely beautiful and worth a morning walk. The harbour area has excellent cocktail bars for pre-dinner drinks.
Casino de Ibiza
Small casino in Ibiza Town. Roulette, poker and slot machines. Open from midnight. Good option for groups who want an alternative to clubs on one night. Smart casual dress required.
Getting there & practical tips
✈️ Flights: EasyJet, Jet2, Ryanair and Vueling all operate direct flights to Ibiza Airport from multiple UK airports. Journey time approximately 2 hours 20 minutes. Return fares typically £100–250 pp. Book as early as possible for summer dates — Ibiza flights sell out.
🌡️ Season: Ibiza clubs only operate May to October. A winter trip is not viable for nightlife purposes — most clubs and beach bars are closed from November to April.
⚠️ Budget carefully: Ibiza costs are at a significant premium. Table service at superclubs can cost £200–500+ pp. Set a clear group budget before booking and stick to it — it's easy to overspend dramatically.
⚠️ Taxis: Official taxis in Ibiza are metered and expensive. Uber/Bolt operate. Agree the fare before getting in any unlicensed vehicle.
