Mykonos is Europe's most glamorous stag and hen destination — a Greek island that has become synonymous with luxury beach clubs, celebrity sightings and high-end nightlife. A 3-night trip typically costs £600–1100 per person excluding flights. It is significantly more expensive than any other European stag destination and is the right choice only for groups for whom luxury is the priority.
The case for Mykonos
Mykonos operates at a different price point to everywhere else on this list. The beach clubs — Paradise, Super Paradise, Scorpios and Nammos — charge premium prices for sunbeds (£40–100 pp), food and drinks. A bottle of Grey Goose vodka at a beach club typically costs £250–400. The town's bars and clubs (Cavo Paradiso, Astra) are equally premium. This is not a budget destination by any definition.
What Mykonos delivers in return: the most beautiful island setting in Europe, guaranteed summer sun (July and August average 30°C), the most glamorous crowd of any European party destination, and a level of luxury that is genuinely unmatched. For groups celebrating a significant occasion and for whom cost is not the primary concern, it is exceptional.

Beach Club Day
A beach club day at Paradise or Super Paradise is the centrepiece of most Mykonos stag/hen itineraries. Arrive by noon, book sunbeds in advance (£40–80 pp), and stay for the afternoon DJ session. Water taxis connect the beaches.
Private Boat Charter
Half or full-day private boat charters explore sea caves, secluded bays and the neighbouring island of Delos. Open bar options available. Budget £100–200 pp for a half day. Book through local operators.
Mykonos Town Sunset Walk
The windmills and Little Venice neighbourhood in Mykonos Town are world-famous at sunset. Walking the narrow whitewashed streets is free and genuinely beautiful. Have drinks at one of the Little Venice bar terraces overlooking the Aegean.
Snorkelling and Diving
Crystal-clear Aegean waters make Mykonos an excellent snorkelling and diving destination. Day tours from Ornos Beach. Budget £40–80 pp. A good morning activity before the beach club afternoon.
Nammos Beach Restaurant
The most famous restaurant on the island — a luxury beachfront restaurant at Psarou Beach. Main courses £30–80. Worth the spend for a group dinner on the final night. Book 2–3 weeks ahead.
Delos Day Trip
The neighbouring island of Delos is one of the most important archaeological sites in Greece — the mythological birthplace of Apollo. Boat trips depart from Mykonos Town. £15–20 pp for the ferry.

✈️ Flights: British Airways, EasyJet and Aegean Airlines operate direct or one-stop flights to Mykonos. Direct flight time from London approximately 3 hours 30 minutes. Return fares typically £150–350 pp. Book early.
🌡️ Season: Mykonos operates May to October only. Beach clubs, superclubs and most restaurants close completely from November to April. Peak season is July and August.
⚠️ Budget warning: Mykonos is exceptionally expensive. Table service at beach clubs routinely costs £300–600+ per table. Set a firm group budget before arrival and stick to it. Groups who do not have a generous budget should choose a different destination.
